Join OvertheBrook Photography in a quick taste of all that she has to offer. Bring the family, your lover, your best friend or just treat yourself to a cozy, warm, seasonal shoot.
What you need to know about your shoot
- Mini Shoots are $65
- At Spicer's Orchard in Fenton, MI
- You get 15 minutes of shooting time
- 10-15 fully retouched high resolution photos
- A custom online gallery link will be provided to download your photos
Tips for a successful shoot
Come 15 to 20 minutes prior to your shoot time. The pumpkin patch is located at the back of Spicer's Orchard. I will be operating on a strict time schedule, so be sure to accommodate for the time it takes to walk to our location and be prepared to begin exactly on time.
If you are bringing children; excite them for the shoot. Often times, parents use bribes for cooperation during a photoshoot. Excite your little ones. Get them in the mindset that the shoot IS part of the fun rather than a chore.
Feel free to bring props. Simple poses are classic and beautiful, but I love a creative client. Feel free to bring something related to the season for you and your loved ones to interact with.
HAVE FUN! That's it. That's the tip. My goal is to create an easy, breezy, and fun experience while you visit a beautiful orchard. I look forward to shooting with you!
Terms and conditions
Shoot must be paid for in full at time of booking. Because Mini Sessions are available on a limited basis, all Mini Session bookings are final and non-refundable. They cannot be rescheduled to a new date or time. If you are late for your session but have time left, your remaining time can be used. If you are unable to attend your Mini Session completely; you are welcome to gift or re-sell it to a friend or family member.
Rescheduling due to inclimate weather or uncontrollable act of God will be done at OvertheBrook Photography's discretion. No fees will be administered to clients in this instance.

Holly, MI Renaissance Festival + In home studio
I almost left the Holly, MI Renaissance Festival empty handed after visiting on Sunday, September 18th after a hiatus of over 10 years. I spent the whole day so wrapped up in music, costumes, sparkles, and over-sized turkey legs, that I'd forgotten to take a moment to purchase one of the many wonderful items I had checked out that day. So many things twinkled and glistened but nothing quite caught my eye as much as one iridescent pearl wrapped in sterling silver had.
I was on my way out, the event was set to close in about half an hour and I was passing the last string of vendors before hitting the exit. I ended up meeting one delightful man who had an impressive handmade jewelry collection in his booth. We chatted back and forth, exchanged business cards and I started on my way out again. Not more than 20 muddy steps away, I pulled a swift 180° turn back to the man's booth.
Tony Kassebaum made such an kind first impression personality and business wise; we agreed to work together in the future. But first, I had to have that beautiful pearl ring.
As a thank you for him allowing my bartering, here are some product photo samples featuring the very ring. I look forward to shooting more of his jewelry collection and other handmade pieces.
