My name is Brooklyn Caldwell. I am a portrait and wedding photographer based in Clio, Michigan.

I've been in professional practice for 12 years now. After years of shooting for many publications, traveling to Europe, Asia and across the United States to work, I have found my happy place creating with everyday people right here in my home state.

The Good Stuff

I have a passion for visual arts. Something I find even more satisfying is the art of opening doors to someone else's life.

My photography style constantly teeters on a spectrum. That's the beauty of meeting new people all the time. Sometimes the occasion calls for more traditional, brightly lit photos. Other times, I assume the position of fly on the wall. In my version of journalistic lifestyle photography, I capture the moment .

Dark, edgy, fantasy and ethereal aren't beyond my tastes either. I spend hours learning, practicing, shooting, editing, designing and more because I love to reveal the beauty and emotion in every person and every moment.

Beyond the lens

I've always reached in all directions for artistic outlet. Cosplay, painting and house hold DIY projects are just some of the other things I do to satisfy my cravings. I'm kind of a nerd but I personally think it works to my advantage. Yours too! There are perks to having a quirky photographer. Nothing that breaks the ice quicker than a mutual love for Kingdom Hearts and Mario Kart right?

Other than that; traveling when I can and keeping up with my house full of animals takes up the rest of my time.
